Hanna oversees and supports projects aimed at advancing climate action of governments. She has over a decade of expertise in analysing and designing climate change mitigation policies and strategies, as well as Paris-compatible public finance. Hanna also engages in the international climate negotiations under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. She has led and contributed to numerous projects related to international climate policy for governments, non-governmental organizations, foundations, and international organizations. She co-founded NewClimate Institute in 2014 and assumes various management roles in the organisation. Prior to joining NewClimate, Hanna worked at a leading energy and climate policy consulting firm. She holds a master’s degree in Energy and Environmental Management from the University of Flensburg.
